New Site Themes

New themes for MLSP websites

We have three new themes for our MLSP system. They are listed here with their names, a preview image and some comments. All themes can be used with our existing color schemes. *

Common features of all three new themes:

  • They provide much more space: page width is 1200px (in comparison to 960px of the old themes)
  • They don't use a banner image
  • They provide a larger media player (560 x 420px) and a larger media listing. Primary images in these themes should be 560 x 420px
  • Andika font from the Google Font Library is embedded, including extended latin characters
  • Bigger font size in page content
  • They are, of course, fully responsive and adapt to any screen size
  • On smart phones (width < 420px) the menu collapses to an icon

1. Menu horizontal, compact media listing, transparent header.

The large header area of this theme lets the background image shine through. A drop down menu is in a horizontal bar, sitting slightly separate above the content area of the page. The language switcher is at the very top of the page within the background image. The background of the page content is always white, independent of the color scheme's setting. * Note that this theme should not be used with the black color scheme.

2. Menu on top, transparent header, compact media listing.

Like Nr. 1 with the difference that the drop down menu is at the top of the page, and the language switcher is in the content area of the page. The background of the page content is slightly transparent (in browsers which support transparency), independent of the color scheme's setting.

* Note that this theme should not be used with the black color scheme.

3. Menu horizontal, compact media listing, compact header

This theme provides a header area with a color gradient, defined by the color scheme. No header image is used. The dropdown menu is next to the site name and site slogan, the language switcher is at the very top of the page. The page background follows the settings of the color scheme (white, black or transparent).
